Joe Jacobson, PT, DPT, OCS
Joe Jacobson is director of outpatient services at Methodist Rehabilitation Center. He earned a Master’s degree in physical therapy from the University of Iowa in 1987. He has completed an Advanced Residency Program in orthopedic manual therapy at the Gulf Coast Graduate Physical Therapy Institute in Gulfport, Miss., and was then accepted as a Fellow into the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Therapists. In 1994 he became a board-certified specialist in orthopedic physical therapy. In 2006, he completed his doctorate in physical therapy at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Jacobson has worked for Methodist Rehab since 1994, first serving as Clinical Director of Outpatient Services before taking his current position in 2000. Areas of Expertise
