With more than 30 years of experience, Methodist Rehabilitation Center offers the most comprehensive amputation services in Mississippi. From pre-surgical assessment to post-surgical therapy, our team has the expertise needed to help amputees adjust to their new prostheses.

Physicians, therapists and nurses—specially trained to help amputees recovery quickly—work closely with experienced orthotists and prosthetists at Methodist Orthotics and Prosthetics. Together, they form one of the largest and most technologically advanced amputation recovery teams in South.

They provide relief from phantom limb pain and prevent skin breakdown and other complications and sponsor support groups that offer amputees help and guidance. Methodist’s therapeutic recreation program organizes sports events designed to build confidence and increase walking, running or cycling ability.
