Support Group Meetings Aid in Recovery Methodist Rehabilitation Center encourages patients and their families to participate in support groups that focus on their illness or injury. Support from others in similar situations greatly benefits patients recovering from neurological or othopedic diseases or disorders. These groups frequently meet at our main campus in Jackson or at east campus in Flowood.
Stroke Support Group
A stroke support group meets the first Thursday of each month at 3 p.m. in the cafeteria at Methodist Specialty Care Center in Flowood. This support group is open to all stroke survivors and their families. There will not be a meeting in January, 2008. For more information, call 601-364-3550.
Amputee Support Group
An amputee support group meets the third Thursday of each month at 3 p.m. in the cafeteria at Methodist Specialty Care Center in Flowood. This support group meeting is open to all amputees and their families. There will not be meetings in November or December. For more information, call 601-936-8899.
